APPOINTMENTS
Bishop Townshend appoints the Reverend Bill Graham as the Interim Priest-in-charge of Holy Trinity, St. George, effective 1 January through 30 April 2025.
CONGRATULATIONS to Captain the Reverend Meghan Nicholls on the birth of her daughter Finley Jane Anne on 20 December 2024. Baby and mom are doing well. Meghan is on leave from the Diocese of Huron and currently serves as military chaplain in Halifax, NS.
COMMISSARY
Archdeacon Stephen McClatchie will be Commissary for Bishop Townshend from January 17 through January 26 while he is on vacation.
DECONSECRATION
Bishop Townshend will preside at a service of Deconsecration of the former parish Church of St. Luke the Evangelist, London, at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, 16 February 2025. After its disestablishment in 2019, the church was the home of the Luke’s Place Worshipping Community until the conclusion of its ministry in December 2023.
All are welcome. Clergy are invited to vest, the colour being green.
