VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: DAILY BREAD COORDINATOR – GRACE ANGLICAN CHURCH, BRANTFORD • Responsible for seeing that weekly nutritious meals, appealing (and cost effective) are served. • Ensures everyone is treated with dignity and compassion. • Creates menus for the following month and makes lists of staple items needed. • Writes up weekly lists for purchase of fresh vegetables. • Must be very conscious that a sanitary environment is maintained to make and serve the meals. • Must hold a food handler certificate. • Responsible for maintenance of equipment i.e. stoves, frig, slicer; repairs as needed. • Ensure every shift have a person with a food handler certificate present.
