Below are 'maps' to the churches from which glass in different parts of the WWII Memorial windows was collected. The black and white photos have numbers that match the list. These are scans of hard-to-read physical copies - we hope to have better images up soon!
While most origins of the glass are known, not all churches listed have a corresponding number on the map. While the Rev. Appleyard was meticulous in his journal notes and labelling of the glass, some of the labels were lost during transport at sea and thus we don't have record of which specific piece belonged to those specific churches.
Below are scanned pdfs of two albums found in the church containing information on the history of the windows.
Book 1 covers from the war years on when Padre Harold Appleyard collected the glass and the windows were installed in the church.
Book 2 was created after a sabbatical visit by the Rev'd Ed Insley to England in 1987 to visit the churches where Rev'd Appleyard had collected glass.
