Welcome to Christ Church, Anglican in Meaford!

We are a growing and vibrant church in Meaford, Ontario focused on discovering new ways to faithfully love and serve God, our neighbours, and community in the name of Jesus.

For over 160 years, the people of Christ Church have striven to follow the example of Jesus - building a place of prayer and faith, of learning, of service to all, and of support to one another. We endevour to see Christ in the face of each person we meet and respond accordingly.

Growing in faith, service, and love
We're all works in progress.

The Christians of our community work to continually live out their faith in their homes, places of work, and with their friends and neighbours, recognizing that we are all a work in progress. So wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome here, without exception – to be formed, to learn and grow, to serve, and to love as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

All are welcome here.

No matter who you are, we want to affirm: you are deserving of love, you are precious to God, and you are welcome here, without exception. The doors of this place are open to you. God is inviting you. You are loved.

A lively community.

We like to have fun!

We spend lots of time getting together to enjoy each other's company. We are a diverse and eclectic collection of people that are friendly and would love to have you join us at any time! (This often involves eating, as you can see in the pictures...)

We at Christ Church acknowledge that we are meeting on the traditional lands and treaty territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, which includes the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation and the Chippewas of Saugeen First Nation. We also recognize the Métis whose ancestors shared this land and these waters. We extend our gratitude to all Anishinaabe and Métis peoples and their descendants, past, present and future, who continue to care for and inhabit these lands and tend these waters.
